Availability of Logitech 4K Pro Magnetic Webcam for Pro Display XDR

Hi,

Anyone know when the Logitech 4K Pro Magnetic Webcam for Pro Display XDR will be available in Canada? Coming up on 4 months it has been on the Canadian Apple Store site with not available for sale.

Apple Canada customer service says they won’t know until “they been told”.

Be careful with this webcam. This dedicated webcam with my Pro Display XDR does not work with Slack. Multiple reports indicate similar problems with Chrome-based applications and/or applications using H.264 codec. Mojave seems to work, but under Catalina several problems.

I've been trying to source one in Australia too - appears to be unavailable - and out of stock on the US Logitech / Apple sites.

I heard of some people having issues - not sure how much of that is related to the fact that with any video card other than the new W5700X video cards, the USB ports on the back of the XDR only run at USB 2.0 speeds.

I've had the BRIO / not magnetic mount since shortly after release. So I have been using this for quite some time and it works great on about 5 different Macs I have used it on.

Now I typically use it for FaceTime, Skype but I have had no issues using it.
