Hi all!

I finally decided to take the plunge and get an Ipad. The problem is in my area northeast Pennsylvania no stores have them. The nearest Apple store is over an hour away and I would like pay cash.

Does anyone know when the retailers (Walmart) will getting more in?
Been waiting for a month now.

Have you actually tried calling your local walmarts?

I'm sure only they would know..also check target best buy and radio shack
 
Called all of them with no luck seem to be sold out everywhere.
No seems to know when thier getting more either!

It's pretty much useless to call Walmart and ask them if there's some. An hour away aint that bad so that may be your only choice for now.
 
Prepaid Visa can be had from just about any drugstore chain.
Pay cash for the card and order the iPad online.
 
What about Target or Radio Shack? Do you have one of those nearby? Whoops, someone already mentioned these...

I've heard of worse things than driving over an hour to get an iPad. Why even bother with ordering online and risking something happening with the shipment or going crazy over waiting for the UPS guy to arrive? And you've been waiting a month already? Why even wait when 1 (admittedly lengthy) trip can take care of this problem in less than a few hours?

Just make sure they have your iPad at the Apple Store and ask them to hold one for you for a couple of hours. I'm sure they'll be sympathetic to you having to drive that distance.
 
I Think you should make sure the store has it and just drive down to it to buy it. Skip the best buy and Walmart, as it's very hard to get them to hold it for you.

I ordered mine from Macmall. No tax in my area and free overnight shipping.
 
Ordered one today from MacMall free overnight and no tax.
Had to get white, oh well!

I never heard of MacMall before!
