Why do most of the paid members (Demis/Contributors) have a pill in their avatar?
It is supposed to represent the Apple TABLET. Weird, but I have it too.
I sort of guessed that, but wanted to be sure.
Who started it?
What paid members? I don't get paid to be here. Do you?
What makes you think that is the reason, if there even is one?
Who told you???
Huh? What are you talking about?
As a former contributor, years back, I can say with near absolute certainty... the reason is to make you ask why.
I remember earlier today, somebody else made that mistake, and I was like "hmm, who would ever make that mistake". And here I am, making that mistake.
Wait, now I'm confused, it's not?
I do, but only because I get paid salary, so technically, I get paid for being wherever I happen to be.
I didn't say it was or wasn't, or that there even is a reason. I just want to know what made you think that, and why you changed your avatar.
I just had a feeling.
I can change it back if it bothers you
Doesn't bother me.
It is curious, though. You'll blindly follow others here into doing something that you don't understand - because of a hunch.
What do you mean, weird? Don't you decide what avatars you have?
It is weird that someone put together a "pill (tablet)" and a "Computer Tablet". Should haven chosen my words better.
All I know is that there are way too many users in this thread with the same tablet avatar.
There's something weird going on in the forums. Thoughts on Time Travel
I'm a demi and not only do I NOT have a tablet, my normal avatar disappeared. The Business Man with the nose
Actually, I hadn't noticed this until you pointed it out. What gives?
I think some members are experiencing a serotonin imbalance. Chill.
Are you telling them to take chill pills, iJohnHenry?
First, thanks to whoever unlocked this thread.
Second, Why was it locked?
Third, Is it supposed to be a play on the word "tablet", signifying that it will never actually live up to it's hype, if it comes out?
Why was it locked?- I think because it got kinda off-topic. I mean, it was almost a three page thread, and now, only one.
I'm not really sure EXACTLY what it is supposed to mean, but looks like the Contributors/ Demi's know.
I'd say they lean more towards a severe mental imbalance instead, something a little more than clinical depression.
