Hi all...only had my new iMac less than a week but already love it to bits, have built new website and downloaded from my Panasonic HDC-SD5 onto imovie.
I have edited a section and saved it as a project. Now I want to burn it to a dvd-r to give to someone. Herein lies the problem. Everything I've tried to no avail. I got a window up saying that the m4v file which it was saved as was invalid. Is it possible someone could give me step by step instructions on how to get it from camcorder to disk in simple terms or from imovie project to dsk. Thanks.

What about iDVD?

Can't you send it to that software, and make a nice DVD for your friend?

Or do you want to have the high resolution of the source?

How big is the .m4v?

What did you do exactly? Did you export the movie, or just took a file from the folder, in which the source material from your camera was copied?
