This is something of a worry. I am considering 'upgrading' my late 2008 unibody 13" MB to a new i5 15" MPB, but the reports of high temperatures do put me off. My 13" MB does not go over 48C with Firefox, Mail, Word for Mac, Keynote and several other apps running.

Temperature is based on your location also.
My uMB and MBPro has around 8oC difference between my home in London,UK and Athens,Greece due to the weather! :D (i dont have to say where is hotter :p :p hehe )
That's with no high load. in a hotter place the Temp get higher faster.
