I'm curious as to what people think the average data use will be. For small email use, a little surfing, bit of GPS use.

I have wifi at home and work at home. So I wouldn't spend a lot of time on the cellular network. But still want to pick the right plan so if need be I won't be charged a fortune.

The smallest data inclusion is 250mb. Just not sure that would be enough. Let me know your thoughts.

I did notice that you can switch off wifi, but not data over the cellular network.. Shame.. If you reach your data limit, it would be nice to be able to turn off data for a few days till next billing month..

perhaps a nice option for a 3rd party app 🙂
 
There's an extensive thread on this topic already; I'm going to close this thread. I'll link in the other thread. Please use that. While it is based on the iPhone with EDGE, no one has had a 3G iPhone long enough to be able to give you an independent estimate of how much more they use data because it's faster...
