You have to say what your OS is, it changes it a lot.
I have the newest, maxed 15" rMBP (with Mavericks obviously) and my start time is ~32 seconds. I really want to try to get it down.
I use Boot Camp, but what sleep feature?
The computer sleeps when you close the lid or go to> Sleep.
But if you experience those startup times, then it is probably due to re-booting the Mac in order to start the other OS.
That is a good time with an MBP using an HDD.
But why don't you just use the SLEEP feature?
My MacBook Pro also starts in 15 seconds.all told 15-18 seconds
