is possible play .avi files on itunes, without convert! I mean really play .avi files on itunes, why if is possible play on quicktime with perian dont play on itunes.

thanks

Get the Movie2iTunes application.

It allows your to add your movie files to iTunes without converting them. However, it requires you to specify a "media link" folder, where it makes a new file for each movie added. The files are really small (~5kb), but that's the best alternative to add .avi to iTunes IMHO.

But just so you know, you won't be able to transfer the movies to your iPod.

actually if you move the .mov file into the free MetaX program it will tag them will all the info including movie art.

lengthy process (I am working on 2TB) but it sure looks nice!

hope this helped!
