AVI - Packed Bitstream

Hello

Does anyone know of an app that modifies divx avi files encoded with packed bitstream, thereby making the file playable without 'jerkyness' on my standalone dvd player

mpeg4modifier does the job for windows

It modifies an MPEG4 video (XviD, DivX) without re-encoding

I just wondered if a mac version exists

yes, that seems to work fine

It re-encode's the file, which means it's slower than just removing the bframes

it will definately do for now though, thanks again
