    Hi!
I have some .avi vids in my MacBook Pro, mid-2012, 13" (i.e. The conjuring:p). I installed DivX player as recommended by Apple, but I still can't hear the audio. The conjuring with no audio? No way! (and I'd really like to watch the movie -for the eighth time- today, because it's going to be windy and rainy and I'd love to scare my brother :D)

    What can I do?
    Thank you in advance!

OK, I'm going to install VLC. BTW, I have to wait, because I'm at work now.

    Thank you :D:apple:

You can also use Handbrake and convert it to mp4

What do you mean? Speakers output?
I can listen to music, and watch YouTube and .mov videos without any problems. Only the .avi has no sound.

Ed Warren and Carolyn Perron talking about the paranormal phenomena, in the Perrons' kitchen. I loooove this movie. I can't wait for The conjuring 2.

MPlayerX, especially since it is available on the Mac App Store.
