OP. Has it been delivered yet. I have ordered a few items from CEX such as bands and never had an issue.
Not had a chance to pick it up yet from the post office. Will update as soon as I get it. I’m hoping they’ve made a mistake with the serial number though.

oh for a new apple watch yeah i feel CeX is best for second hand goods. I ordered an Hermes band from them recently, grade B, and it looked near mint!

To anyone already asked I have collected the watch now. No box nothing just the watch itself and the charger. Serial number is the same as the one I had initially and it’s going back unfortunately. The face is scratched considering it’s sapphire crystal. Massive let down.

Shame. CeX will fully refund you. Look on eBay.

I will more than
CEX offer their own 2 year warranty. Did you get that with your purchase.
Yes I knew this which makes total sense but the overall condition of the watch is not satisfactory. Considering I paid £700 for it and a new one is an extra £150 I may as well wait for it after this scenario.

It’s definitely worth the wait to get it directly from Apple. I have found that Apple is very conservative in there posted delivery dates and the item usually arrives earlier than expected. I’m in the USA so it could be different where you are.

I found that in the past, but not with my most recent purchase - a series 5 nike. Dispatched a couple days after the start of the week long window, with an estimated arrival date (and warranty start date, etc.) of the final day of the shipping window.

Luckily it came within 24h and I had it Thursday rather than the following Monday.

I have bought, sold or traded in lots of nearly new iphones, iPads, Macbooks, Macbook Pros, Apple watches with good experience over many years.
Older stuff is more of a lottery.
I have been able to get Applecare without problem on stuff less than year old.
Trade in values are pretty good.
Their pricing is sometimes inconsistent, resulting in some good bargains.
If you buy on line you have a no quibble 14 day return period.
Everything has a two year warranty.
I find the instore experience unpleasant, queues, noisy.
