I’m into big watches so I don’t really mind the size of the Ultra but I’m just noticing the thick bezels surrounding the screen. Does anyone else get bothered by them especially now that the new Series watches don’t have any? I’m guessing next year they’ll be gone.

Next year they’ll introduce a darker color, then the year after they’ll shrink the bezels. They don’t usually bump up the screen size two years in a row, and this would allow them to spread out the “new” stuff, giving at least some people each year a reason to upgrade.

I think part of it is an optical illusion, because the series 8 edges curve down, so the edges look thinner from above.

They should of had slim bezels and bigger screen what’s he point making a big watch with the same screen size

The point of the bezels are to provide protection for the screen! It's the rugged version.

If you want smaller bezels and less protection then buy the 8.
The normal Apple Watch has never damaged even tho I use it like a rugged one and the casing is what protects it not the bezels they could of made the screen bigger

THIS! The Ultra is not meant to be frilly, it is a rugged watch and rugged and thin bezels do work.

Would love to see a black DLC coated Ultra!

Maybe next year. . . .

More worried that it is soft Ti. Good thing I don’t really care about scratches on the case.
