When outside of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi range I can make calls, receive iMessage, texts, get Voice Mail notifications with AW3, BUT can’t receive calls on my AW3?!? It simply won’t ring. I have this problem ever since I got the iPhone X, so must be something went wrong when I set up X by restoring from my old 6s+ backup. Everything worked correctly on my old 6s+. I’m with AT&T.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

It would appear that something is amiss with NumberSync and AT&T. First I would try logging into NumberSync and see if shows your iPhone X and watch are actively synced. You can also unsync your watch at this link if it currently shows it is actively in sync with your iPhone X.

Note: you will need to use the Access ID that you originally used to setup the initial NumberSync on your iPhone.

You can also go through the whole unpair and repair cycle if the above steps don't get NumberSync working again.

Is your phone on when trying to receive call on the watch?
I've tried with iPhone X on, but out of range of Bluetooth and WiFi, and also off but it won't ring. Going to do the steps @dave006 and let everybody know what happens.

I have the X now. No problems when I had the 6s+.

Now, I can't even make calls out when I'm out of range of the X. So it seems cellular is now completely out of sync with th X. Yesterday, I couldn't receive calls when I was out of range of the X, but I could do everything else like send and receive texts, initiate calls.
