Has anyone noticed if their AW4 comes off the charge warm on the back no matter how long it has been on the charger?

This would concern me if the watch is not stopping its charge cycle when full. Also, is there any need to use the charger from the AW4? Presently using the one from my AW3.

My S2, S3, now my S4 same thing but not all of the time. Makes me uncomfortable, I have been using the same aftermarket stand charger. I wonder if that plays into it?

I had the same concern, but the other day, I left it on the charger for a while, and for the first time it felt cold after taking it off it.

I've noticed the same thing with my series 2.. Every once and awhile it comes off warm but most the time it isn't.. Maybe its just the way its lined up with the charger and if its in a specific position it causes heat. I've also noticed my watch has been rebooting every night since the update to os 5. At least I think that is whats happening since I have to re open all of the apps for the first time again daily..

I never had that problem before with any of my Apple Watch’s until I updated the OS to 5.0 on my Series 3 because I had to in order to pair it with my iPhone Xs Max. Now it feels pretty warm every time I take it off the charger.
