hi all
I sometimes run in the woods under heavy tree cover or with my coat/sleeve covering the AW8. I know with the AW8, GPS by default is recovered from the watch itself, not the phone first. But what happens if the GPS signal is poor on the watch itself? Would it then pull signal from the tethered iPhone?
Thanks

Winter season again, just bumping up to see if anything changed with watchOS 10?

iPhone 14/15 Pro and Watch Ultra use dual band GPS, it a hardware thing and will be a little bit better under tree cover. This is nothing iOS can do for you.
