203 seconds? No way, something is wrong. Or did you mean 2-3 seconds? That sounds about right.
I never timed it, might be 1-2 seconds. That is close enough to "instant" for me takes time to connect to the wifi network.
So IYO there isnt really an issue? The issue more with me? 😀

Well turning on the power button the login screen is almost instantly, after entering my password it takes about 2-4 seconds it feels like to get to my desktop, it'll load like a quarter of the way, hold for a second and then finish all the way and then be ready to do stuff
Yeah, mine is similar for the boot up, its the sleep I was meaning, i.e. wake-up after hibernation. Not being powered down.

Ah i see, well depends for me, if it's been in the sleep state for like 30 seconds it's pretty instant, if a bit longer maybe a second or two, i think you're in the normal range (assuming mine isn't also affected by a new undiscovered flaw, lol)
Thanks for the swift reply, my apologies I meant 2-3 seconds, EDITED!
So that seems reasonable, just that I had the impression the MBA are to be near instant for start up?
...
It's Sunday, we got to find something to do!Please be aware that the laptop usually needs a few seconds to go to sleep.
So if you close it and open it almost immediately afterwards, you might catch it when it's still going to sleep and then you have to wait longer for it to sleep and wake up again.
So don't just sit there opening and closing the lid and get sad about how long it takes in this unrealistic situation. 🙂
