I thought the "wake for network access" option in the energy settings of system preferences only worked for network access. Looks like it also works with Back to My Mac. This is exactly what I was looking for. I hate wasting energy by leaving my computer running 24/7 so I can access it from work, while traveling, etc.

Has anyone tried it? A Time Capsule or AirPort Base Station is required for it to work properly.
