When I do it I'll see if I can figure out a way to drill a hole into the macintosh case so you can push the home button. I plan on doing this when I get my hands on an old Macintosh and I'll figure out a way and post a tutorial.

Also does anyone know if you need a specific type of old Macintosh or would any old desktop macintosh do?

I got an idea, if in xCode you say your device is for developer use, which you don't even need a dev acount to do, you can enable to ability to multitask with a 3 finger swipe and go back to the home screen with a 4 finger pinch.

Edit: 4 finger swipe and 5 finger pinch.

It is physically impossible to pinch with 4 fingers, it is 5 fingers pinch, I just tested it to verify.

Not true. Try it without using your pinky.
