One of the TB ports on my Caldigit TB station went bad. I called tech support and immediately spoke to a knowledgeable person who agreed with my assessment. He hooked me up with an advanced replacement even though my unit was slightly out of warranty ! This kind of support should be acknowledged.
 
Ditto to caldigit's support. they are world class... same to their quality products. I have just preorder two of their thunderbolt 2 stations, hopefully to receive them next week, then I can sell my old one on ebay. 🙂
 
They would have given me a TB2 as a replacement, but they said they had a bunch of pre-orders they needed to fill
