When i try to get a screenshot with Awesome Screenshot extension on Safari, it says "Capture Failed!".... hope they update/fix this extension soon...

It seems to be the latest Safari, not Mountain Lion per se, as I'm running Lion (but not ML) and I have the issue too.

Safari 6 is the latest release, so expect some time before people make plug-ins available on it.
Have you tried contacting the developer?
If you really need it, you can use the Firefox version for now.

Yea, i suppose i'll check for updates periodically... and perhaps i'll give firefox a go. In the meantime, i've just been doing normal screenshot grabs (command+shift+3)... and then opening the image in pixelmator to add notes/text to the image.

Working now...

It happened to me, too, and I love the Safari Extension.

I communicated with the devs through their website and informed them of the problem. Just a suggestion; when stuff like that happens, communicate the bug directly to the devs.

(Apologies if you already had done that...:D)

download it directly from the Apple Safari Extensions gallery

I downloaded from their site and it did not work, I uninstalled that version in Safari Preferences/extensions
and then clicked on get extensions and installed it from the extensions gallery and it's working fine.
