For the i7 processor and the 512 SSD, skip the 2015 models. Touch Pad is no biggie.

Yes, I though it was a good deal too. Ordered it two hours ago. Upgrading from 17" 2011 Macbook Pro, seemed like a good deal, cheaper than buying the same model from the Apple Refurb Store.

I picked one up, should be a nice upgrade to my 2009 White Unibody MacBook. I'll still travel with the MacBook, as I do lots of stuff that requires an ethernet port, but not a good display. The 2014 MBP will be great for the last minute Photoshop work I tend to do.

I almost bought an i7 MacMini when I stumbled upon this MBP deal.
