B&H Edu advantage

Is the Edu discount worth it at B&H? I'm planning on getting a MBP and trying to price everything out. I know Apple uses the honor system when it comes to student/education discount but B&H need you to send them documentation. Anyone use it recently?

Edu discount on B&H is a major PITA and has a long list of requirements. Some of them are full-time enrollment, schedule, transcript, or bill, only certain programs and majors.

Just go through Apple.com and pay the tax.

That's why I was wondering if anyone has actually used it. Don't want to jump through all these hoops just to find out it's no use. Thanks!
