Original Apple Watch models are available for as little as $199 depending on the model, which is a significant savings.

It should be noted that the original Apple Watch features a first-generation S1 processor and it is a good deal slower than the Apple Watch Series 1 and Series 2 models, but if you're looking for the lowest-cost option and don't plan to use apps, B&H's deals are worth checking out.

B&H Photo will have rotating "Giftsgiving" deals throughout the holiday season, so make sure to keep an eye on the price charts in our Deals roundup to always get the top price on a Mac or iPad.

185.84€ off on the 2015 "13-inch 2.9GHz/8GB RAM/512GB SSD" is not bad.

I guess the margin on these new ones is so big they can discount is so quickly after release.

This site has become almost unbearable. So many ridiculous statements being made. Apple still makes great products and I would love one for free!

Agreed. It's pathetic with the constant negativity. And that forum member you quoted is always hate spreading on this site. But there is a lot of useful information on this site once you weed through the pessimism.

Love B and H. Great service and prices plus no tax outside of NY.

Still way too rich for my blood.

The 2015 MBP is a good product. 2016 is not. It's not hate. It's fact.

Hate is....

Car Play is an all but abandoned joke.

Apple TV, aka tvOS, both hardware and software are terribly out of date and step with the premium market they occupy.

iOS and macOS software divisions are a disjointed mess. Replete with clunky software choices.

Apples desktop division is a crumbling, vanishing mess.

Then we have....Apple Watch. Or as I call it, Newton 2.0.

Poor battery life, soldered everything, poor GPU, no USB-A ports, gimmicky touchbar, poor keyboard.

I'd take it, but I wouldn't use it, I'd put it up for sale.

Well, some critics are very welcome, not everything Apple does is magic. But, those useless statements as "I wouldn't want one for free" those are the one's we can do without.

This thread is about the MBP without the touch bar, bad battery life.....

For the 2015 MacBook Pro 15" with 512 SSD that is still 300.00 more than a refurbished one at Apple.

All of what you mentioned is either subjective or things most consumers don't care about.

Apple haters never get it. It's not individual subjective line items, it's the whole package that people care about. That's why people buy Apple products.

If it doesn't appeal to you then move along. Nothing to see.

Maybe it's just a bubble within Apple news sites, but I don't see the negative Apple comments going away anytime soon unless Apple does something meaningful to silence them.
We've heard it for decades and I used to be one of those haters. After giving Apple a chance I've never been happier with my devices with any other tech company. Apple is doing something right.

What's that comment got to do with the models being discussed here? The ones actually, you know, on sale at B&H?

I've got a 2015 13" MacBook Pro, the battery life is fantastic, and it's got just about all the ports you could want! I share your disdain for the choices Apple made with the new version - but this post isn't about those at all.

(I'm debating whether I should grab a 2015 MBP for my wife - she keeps complaining about the 2011 model she's currently using. Work paid for mine though :D)

All of what you mentioned is either subjective or things most consumers don't care about.

I wouldn't say "most consumers" don't care about lack of native compatibility with 95+% of USB peripherals currently on the market.

Apple is selling a new laptop in 2016 that you can't even plug your 2016 iPhone (or any iPhone or iPad, for that matter) into without purchasing an adapter or a new Lightning cable. At the very least, they could've thrown a USB-C to Lightning cable in the box with the laptop.

Just sync both your laptop and phone with iCloud, you say? Well, that works great at home where I have gigabit fiber. However, pretty much every other place I go does not have anything close to gigabit fiber.

If I've taken 200 pictures with my phone while on a trip and want to edit one of those pictures on my brand new MBP while still on the trip, if I didn't have a Lightning to USB-C cable, I would have to either go buy one or wait for the picture I wanted to edit to upload to iCloud over piss poor hotel Wi-Fi and then I would have to wait for my shiny new MBP to download that picture from iCloud over the same lousy Wi-Fi.

Most rational people would be asking themselves if that is the experience they should be having after spending $2,000+ on a laptop. Don't get me wrong...these latest laptops will probably be great (at least from an I/O perspective) in 2 to 3 years when USB-C peripherals are likely everywhere. However, by then, this latest MacBook Pro will hopefully have been long since replaced.

This is the exact reason why people are upset and the price rise. This is a symptom of something being wrong at Apple. Although some statements might be extreme but the real issue is that Apple just didn't care about the loyal buyers that have been with them for decades. A company that expects everyone to change for them so drastically just doesn't say we care about our customers. Two products releasing within a month don't work with each other is just not in line with what I knew Apple was. Some idiots will comment that we could get a cable to work with iPhone 7 but that is not the point. Ok I am done.

What exactly is your expectations from Apple? Seeing as the next gen technology that all these companies use is still afar off. Everyone has caught up. No one is doing anything special right now.

CarPlay? Does what its suppose to do: give you a minimal display so you focus on driving.

tvOS? Tell me which other streaming hardware is lightning up the market? And when I say the market I mean non-techies like us who are all about specs.
Right now 4K is still a gimmick. And Apple just like everyone else are at the mercy of content providers.

Please elaborate more on the clunkiness of iOS and macOS

Apple Desktop? Hey remember that prediction by SJ about the death of the PC?

Apple Watch..... has outsold all other smart watches to such an extent. The only thing tech magazines can compare it to are fitness trackers. Yeah... real failure there.

Since you like Macrumors so much, I suggest you re-visit the forum rules and understand it's prohibited to post comments about the moderator team.

On topic: I'm guessing you have never purchased anything from B&H Photo being you live in Canada or is it India now.

your post doesn't make any sense if i haven't purchased anything that doesn't mean I can't participate in the forum and thanking someone is not a offence hope you understand that (which you aren't)
