You're right Painter is pretty intense, but the new iBook handles it effortlessly.


Yes, I also use a tablet but it's a 9 x12inch and with that 1024 x 768 resolution I don't think I'd have enough room...I'd need that just for tool palletes. So I'm sure an ibook would have the power I need, especially if I did use the extra money saved for memory, etc. Perhaps a 14" ibook...at least I'd have a little extra room. - Thanks. :)

And in a real Apple Store they might cut you a deal, if you buy a returned iBook an pay for the labor for upping the hard drive they might do it for you.

Keep in mind many refurbs are already upgraded. At no charge.
