OK here we go, I have a bit of a pet peeve. When I am in finder to open a new image for something at the top left corner are forward and back arrows ok great can move from one level to the next. Ok now here is my peeve, after I add my image or whatever

I decided maybe not the image I wanted so I go back and open the finder it goes to the last area of choice (which is fine with me) but if I want to go to a level above that the top left arrow back is grayed out I can not I have to go all the way to top level and start again. See my video (sorry I am not good to use screen capture and editing)

Thanks

It does seem like the arrow should still work there. I'd suggest using the left/right/up/down arrow keys on your keyboard instead.

The arrow keys only work when you have a selection. At 18 seconds into your video, you don't have a selection. I don't understand why not. Have you installed any software that changes Finder behavior?

Even without a selection, tapping the down or right arrows (or the 'A' key) should select the American Flag file.
