Seriously, how many website requests can their site handle before choking under pressure?

Apples website worked so much better last year... You think they would just design a system like Ticketmaster.com or something where it puts you in a queue and processes orders first come first serve. Better to wait in line than get OOPS! every minute.

CAN WE NOT POST THREADS LIKE THIS?

Especially when it comes back up.
Some of us have been waiting here since last night.
Either refresh on your own or don't bother.

    Stop posting when it's down/up.

Guess I was lucky - I got all the way through pick-up and got a screen confirmation that I can pick up on the 24th at 7 AM at my local Apple store.

Now as soon as I receive my email confirmation I will be happy.

You would think they would have multiple servers taking in the requests.
