Back from Abroad, How Do I

Yes, I HAVE been on another planet for a few months. Just got back to the country, am trying to get up to date on the iphone stuff. AT&T says I'm eligible for a free upgrade (if I renew my contract for another two years).

So what and where, at this point, is my best bet for getting the new phone ASAP? Seems like everywhere is out of them....

You have two options: 1) get in line at an Apple Store (or one of the other outlets that might have a few for walk-in sale) and see if you luck out, or 2) just wait until they make enough units to fill some of the huge demand. Right now, you're probably looking at a month wait.

thanks. think I'll turn this to my advantage by:

1. waiting to see if there's a Rev B to reconcile the reception and screen discoloration issues, and

2. get me a white phone...
