Back of the iPhone 5: Which do you prefer?

Which backing would you prefer the iPhone 5 to have?

Decided to create a thread based on the back of the iPhone 5.

I hear most people say glass is just too delicate, and that some want matte aluminum or just plain aluminum..
Also which colour.. Black, white or silver

Choice is yours!!

Oh keep in mind, I will be using which ever poll option gets highest in a few days for my mockup:

I agree. I choose black matte.

I think it will add to the finesse and elegance that the iPhone is so well known for.
 
Although glass admittedly looks the best, aluminium is much more durable. Plus matte aluminium will match my iPad 2 and MBP very nicely 😀

Isnt matte aluminum super scratch resistant?

On the back of the iPod touch, is plain aluminum. I believe iPad 2 has some sort of matte / regular aluminum.. I cant remember lol xD

Id chose the same, and also for it to be blended with the screen, having the screen be transparent adamantium / touchscreen blend, instead of glass.

So the entire phone would be a solid indestructable adamantium body.

Took the words right out of my mouth. If apple can't whip up that bad boy, I can go with the liquid metal that the T-1,000,000 (from Terminator 2, I believe. Could be T-10,000) has would be quite nice.

Ok, yeah. The poll should say stuff that way. I'd like 'iPad aluminum,' not 'iPod aluminum.' 😀
 
I want the new iPhone to look like a mini iPad2 with a touch of Air thrown in for good measure.

I think the iPod just has smooth aluminium. I agree, that shouldn't be on the iPhone. The first iPhone was right on the money with it.

The back of the iPad sure feels like brushed aluminium.

I actually used a ScotchBrite sponge to give my iPod a brushed aluminium back. It is much more scratch resistant now. I don't have it with me at the moment, otherwise I'd post a picture. When I get a chance I'll post a picture to show how it looks and how I'd like the back of the iPhone to look.

Pretty much took the words right out of my mouth. This is exactly what I want it to be. Although this mockup is pretty nice as-is. Honestly I'd take either version.
