so it's been a while since i had my 128k macintosh and now i'm ready to get a mac again after years of battling pc companies for warranty service etc etc etc.

i'm looking at the macbook pro 15", maybe 2.66.

pretty generic questions...got a headache and can't search the forums right now:

is it a good time to buy one or do new models come out soon?
where can i find the best deal on the internet?
are refurbs a good way to go?

First of all I never buy refurbs. They have always failed.

I usually buy from amazon.com

They give you free shipping and there is no tax. Also, they have a good return policy.
