I've enabled back to Mac on my iMac and from home using my MBP I can see my iMac and share the screen

But when using a MBP from the public internet I cannot see my iMac, I even have VPN connection from my MBP back to my home and still cannot see the iMac

I can ping my iMac on 192.168.0.40 and using the VPN I'm basically connected to my home LAN but it doesn't see the iMac

I assume back to Mac uses a different protocol and isn't support via VPN

Can someone please help
