I was just thinking that with all of the work Apple has done with the NAT and firewall traversal for FaceTime, it would make sense for Apple to put these technologies into Back to my Mac.
At the moment it seems to have real trouble connecting when there's almost any kind of firewall in between the target and the local device.
Also, while they're at it, I wouldn't mind a Back to my Mac app for iOS...
