Back To My Mac Problems!

Hi all -- I'm having trouble connecting to another Mac (on a different network) using BTMM. I cannot get the credentials dialog box to come up! I've tried deleting certs and identities in my keychain, removing shared from the Finder, restarting finder, etc. Yesterday I would get the dialog only sporadically, and don't know what/how I was able to get it to come up. Now I can't get it at all. Every time I click on the server it attempts to auto-connect, and when I hit "Connect as...", the dialog does not pop up, it simply attempts to connect using unknown credentials. No ability to disconnect. Any ideas? I am able to connect to other BTMM assets on different networks...
