Well it happened. I lost my old MacRumors account so that's cool, but I guess I got bugger issues... My Hackintosh died at the worst time, I lost my job, and all the fun electronics stores in town are shut down. So whats a guy like me to do? Well I still have my iMac G5!

Today is the day that I will set up the old girl again and install 10.4.11 and hopefully the spare Kingston v300 SSD I have from my old build.

Ill keep you all posted as I make progress!

Please do! I've had nothing better to do this past week, so Im trying to use my PPC systems as much as possible and not rely on my MacBook as much. It's really fun and actually really easy to do with the right tools :D

Sorry to hear about your job and you hackintosh :(

Since everyone's stuck inside, maybe it would be a good time to bring back the PowerPC Challenge!

It's always nice to find a use for old stuff that's lying around - good luck getting it up and running again!

Which model? The later editions are still very capable.

Its the 20" 2.0Ghz Model with the Ambient Light Sensor if memory serves me correctly.

Thanks man, it's just the time we live in right now. I still got my MacBook Pro but I have no USB-C Adapters so that only gets me so far.
