Back to School Gift Card doesn't redeem

Hi,

I've just unpacked my new MacBook Air bought on the Apple Store Online though the Back to School programme. I also got my Back to School Gift Card but the fact is that I can't redeem it on iTunes or Mac App Store, no matter what I do and how many times I spelled the code.

Do you know a solution for this problem? I already sent an email to the iTunes Support but they haven't answered yet.

I would call apple directly, vs waiting for an email.

I'm guessing they forgot to scan the card to activate it before shipping it.

I finally managed to get my money on my Apple ID...

The thing was that they mistyped a letter - which is a very common issue I discovered - and so, with the help of this guide from Apple Support http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1292, I corrected my code and it worked. 😉
