back up drive - leopard

I have a macbook pro 120G HD

I've been using a 120G 3.5" HD in an external case for backing up.

Will it be possible to use this backup drive when I upgrade to Leopard.
even though the storage capacities are the same ?

yes...why wouldnt you be able to use it?

yes leopard will still recongize your backup drive as an external drive and will still be functional.

I just read that your backup space should be double because of Time Machine.

When I saw the video.
It looked as if backup copies of every file edit are made.
If my fat, layered .psd files are saved multiple times

Time will stop

am I completely wrong
