Hi my macbook air startup disc is full. Could anybody tell me what would be the best way to put a back up of my hd onto my nas drive so that I can get rid of some stuff but still hold a copy?

Also is there any way I can clear some of the rubbish without going through every file individually? I don't want to mistakenly delete some important file in Lion.

    Thank you
