I've been using SuperDuper! for years now and love it! (Easy & Fast)

Decided for safety of Data, maybe I should also use another Backup Software once every few weeks, just to make sure I was covered.

- ChromoSync has been suggested
- CarbonCopy has also been suggested

I'm having a lot of problems with permissions in ChromoSync
- Are others seeing these same error messages and what are you doing about it?

I'm trying to get an accurate backup, and if I keep excluding or passing files because of lack of permission, will this give me an accurate full copy?

I'm trying CarbonCopy right now, lets see if that's better.

- Anyone have a favorite backup software, besides SuperDuper! ?

Thanks - Dave

The backup strategy I've been using is a daily Time Machine backup and then a bootable SuperDuper backup on another drive every month or so. This way incremental updates are taken care of easily and the full disk copy is only needed periodically.

I was never really a fan of CCC - it just doesn't seem as intuitive as SuperDuper.
