Maybe it's somehow a springboard backup method? Seems too coincidental to me that a Springboard Cydia tweak is also called Backboard.... Hmmmm

I found that earlier, yeah.

I have my doubts that this is another 'wifi sync' to 'wifi sync' jb to gm type thing, though.

Springboard seems to be the LAST thing Apple and Ive want to complicate, so in the back of my mind I imagine some sort of secondary home screen with a multitude of info.....

I use a jb tweak that puts a list of running applications under my spotlight search bar. That space is SEVERELY underused, I'd love to see a widget page back there... maybe in my dreams.

The ********** question. Get out of my thread! Grrr.

But for real, didn't mean to seem hostile, but I did sort of pose the original question, for which you replied with info from wikipedia on something that's existed since iPhone os 1 in 2007, and, correct me if i'm wrong, but I didn't catch the post that shows someone benefitting from it.

But, thanks!
Well you never said that you knew what it was until after so I thought you were unaware.

So, according to chpwn (the source of my original confusion/curiosity) there seems to be no big changes with springboard.

Sorry folks, nothing to see here. Move along. Move along.
