First of all, I don't know a single person who uses Twitter. I'm not sure what age range does, but I'm pretty social and in my mid 20's and I don't know anybody that uses it. Not that this has anything to do with the reasoning, but can you tell me why you need your Twitter updated when you aren't looking at it?

You don't know an "age range" that uses twitter? How about the whole world uses it. News Agencies, specific Sports Insiders that Tweet the news hours before it gets broken on their respective websites.

I can't tell you HOW many times Twitter has saved my a** when it comes to fantasy football and last second injuries before gametime! I follow News sites, Sports columnists, and Developers related to the Android community. Just because YOU don't use twitter doesnt mean the whole community should not have the CHOICE to push it if they want.

Wrong. Poorly written apps are what kills battery the most. Like i've mentioned many times. I stream MANY apps and get more out of my battery than you will probably ever get with your phone with comprable use.
