Background never saves!

My MBP BG never saves!

Whenever I change the background, it can either go back to default in a few hours or days and I have no idea why!

Whenever I change the background, it can either go back to default in a few hours or days and I have no idea why!

Try this:

In Finder click on the Go menu while holding alt/option key, pick Library from the list.

In the Library folder go to the Preferences folder and delete com.apple.desktop.plist

Restart.

Make sure the background image you want to use is saved to your system drive, set it as the wallpaper.

This should do it.

had the same issue, if it doesnt work, run disk utility verify, then repair
