Background

    I dislike the fact that Yosemite is so slow, but more than anything I loathe not being able to change background colours.

    Even with my strongest reading-spectacles, I have great difficulty reading the tiny lettering on the grey Favourites Bar, and the blue side-bar is not much better.

    Just at present, I cannot see what I have gained from upgrading to Yosemite.

    I have installed Google Chrome instead of Safari 8, and that has got rid of the abominable black-lettering-on-grey and replaced it with white on black, which is ideal.

    I can probably live with the other minuses of Yosemite now.
