Backgrounder not working?

I looked to see if it was one of the apps that's working, and it is, but I can't get it to background anything. I've re-installed it and re booted the ip4 but still not able to get it to work. Any suggestions?

works fine on my 3gs 4.0 been using it over a month.

Yeah it worked awesome on my 3GS running 3.1.2.
