Backing up a Nokia in readiness for iPhone?!

I've synchronised my contacts and calendar items with my Mac but does anyone have any advice on how to back up other stuff... notes, old SMS messages I've been saving...

On the PC, Nokia's software suite would do this for me but I have some sentimental text messages I'd like to keep if I can and Nokia don't do the software suite for the Mac. :-(

can't your fwd your sms messages onto your new phone using the supplied sim?

I could but then they'll all show as being from me and I'll lose the date/time stamp. Nokia PC suite backs all this up. Thanks for the suggestion though.
