Hi All -

New Apple convert here...got my new MBP all setup. Apps, VMware with VM and pertinent apps up and running. All updates, etc.

From what I've been reading, just short of time capsule not being able to be used as a bootable OS - it does let me roll back to data as well that in the event of a HD crash, in theory, I could restore my *whole system*.

Does this also include my whole *application folder* or do I need to do what I do on a PC (which would be to dump all pertinent printer drivers, etc that I would need to reload).

Can I litterally restore the *apps* folder from tc ?

Erm...kinda!

Some apps are just a straight drag over to the Applications folder so those would be fine. But something like Office 2008 requires it to actually be installed. Same with printer drivers.
