Backing up files on Time Capsule (not TM backups)

I'd really like to store some files on my Time Capsule drive so I can have both my Macs and my XP machine be able to access them. The problem I have is that you can't have Time Machine backup files on an external drive.

I have a Mac Pro with an external drive used for Time Machine backups. My MacBook uses Time Capsule as the TM backup drive.

I'd love to be able to have the Mac Pro backup files that are on the Time Capsule (not the TM MacBook backups though).

Anyone have any ideas?

Is there a way to have an Applescript or cronjob mount the Time Capsule drive, copy the files to the Mac Pro, thus having them backed up on it's Time Machine?
