Backing up Hard Drive

Thanks to the wise owls here I've come to understand my HD may fail pretty soon. Therefore I have bought me a nice LaCie External HD. Thing is I wont have it till wednesday as its out of stock. However I now need to know how to back up my current HD. I've spent a long time customising this mac to my specification I dont want to lose any settings.

While I've never used either, I have heard from a number of places that SuperDuper! is better than Carbon Copy Cloner.

Just thought I'd throw it out there. Info=good. 🙂
