I am currently using two phones, an iPhone and a Samsung Galaxy S3. I would like to only backup the my contacts, messages and my photos. I would prefer to back it up to my Mac rather then to google. Whats the best option?

    Thanks

No idea if its "the best" but look at Syncmate from Eltima, it seems to provide sync from almost everything to everything, I used the free version which did a great job copying the contacts from my Android and putting them into the Apple address book on my iMac.

The free version also does calendars but I didn't try that. I have a feeling you have to pay for photos.

I have a Galaxy S2. You can download Keis for Mac for free.

    http://www.samsung.com/us/kies/

It has a backup feature to simply backup all the data on your phone. Check it out.
