Hello

I have decided to archive and install leopard. Before I do that I have a few questions about backing up and then restoring the files on my computer after the installation. I have backed up my computer with Carbon Copy Cloner.

I have a 500GB My Book Quad Interface. I have a lot of files on there for all my projects. I also have my computer backed up on there. When restoring my computer, will those other files cause problems? How exactly do I restore with CCC? And should I partition my drive?

Thanks for any help.

If you're doing an Archive and Install, you don't need to back it up first; I mean it doesn't hurt to back up stuff just in case, but the point of the Archive and Install is so you don't have to restore anything later short of reinstalling programs like CS3/4, and redoing all the updates.
