Backing up on Time Capsule over USB?

I have it connected over usb to my MBA but it still backups up wirelessly. How can I change that?

The USB port on the Time Capsule is to connect HDDs, printers, and hubs with HDDs and printers. You cannot connect directly to the TC with the USB port. You would need a USB Ethernet adapter for your MBA and connect using Ethernet.
