My new iphone (backed up from my 3GS) cannot send MMS messages and has no option to turn on facetime... What i was thinking about doing was just starting as a new phone... but i dont want to lose all of my text messsages... is there a way i can backup and save all of my texts so that when i start my phone as a new phone all of my texts will be ported over?

i'm in the process of this myself on the wife's phone.
would be nice to know that itunes will still have to download the 4.0 software which it approximates 3-4hrs. i suggest searching the 4.0 software and download via your web browser.
